how do I check if one specific painting is actually on display?
Hello. There is one painting I particularly want to see, but I know museums rotate works and close rooms. Is the Louvre Collections database enough to confirm it is currently displayed, or is there another availability check I should use before the visit?

Hello. Several websites sell “skip-the-line” Louvre tickets. I understand everyone still goes through security, so what is actually being skipped? Is an ordinary timed ticket from the Louvre already the relevant priority, or is there another product?

We have about 90 minutes and our “must see” list is exactly three things: Mona Lisa, Winged Victory, Raft of the Medusa. Are those all sensible to combine without crossing the whole museum, or have we accidentally chosen three different corners? M&P

I am heat-sensitive and visiting in summer. I saw that not all galleries are air-conditioned and that rooms can close in high temperatures. Is that just a general warning, or a real reason to keep the route flexible?

I can walk short distances but may need a wheelchair for the museum. Is loan equipment available after entry, and is there an entrance/lift route I should use rather than just joining whichever line is shortest?

Thinking Porte des Lions because it suits our route, but one of us needs to leave a small bag in a locker and another may need to borrow a stool. Does that entrance have those services or do we need to go under the Pyramid instead?

We cannot fit the Louvre and Delacroix Museum comfortably into the same day. I read that the Louvre ticket also covers Delacroix — does “also” include the following day, or only the date printed on the Louvre booking?

Louvre with a child who has 2 good hours in them
Going with a 9-year-old who genuinely likes art but absolutely does not have an all-day museum battery. If we protect two good hours, what is the sensible approach — a few famous works and stop, or try to build a child route across several wings?
